Michael Taglia

Michael Taglia is an economics graduate of Virginia Tech, Class of 2026, where he studied data analytics and data engineering alongside his core economics coursework. He started DuckDuckCEO because he got tired of economic analysis that reads like a textbook and business news that never actually explains why things happen.

Every week, Michael takes a real business event, runs the economics, and tells you what it actually means. No jargon for the sake of jargon. No hedging conclusions. Just clear thinking backed by real data.

Michael is also the founder of RideHoppy, a community ride-sharing platform serving campus organizations nationwide. He saw a broken system, built a better one, and launched it while finishing his degree.

About DuckDuckCEO

DuckDuckCEO publishes one article every Wednesday. Each post takes a real business event from that week, applies a named economic framework, and backs it up with real data. The goal is simple: explain why things happen, not just that they happened. No hedging. No fluff. A clear position every time.
